Located in the scenic Irish Hills of South Central Michigan, resting on 20 rolling acres of field and woods you will find Land Of Havilah Farm. Our personal piece of paradise here on Earth.
Residents here include our family - Paul, Kristie (that's me
), Michael, Daniel and Rebekah Miller; our fox, Sparky; our dog, Shali; our cat, Cassie; our horses, Skywalker and DS Morning Star; and our Registered Nubian Dairy Goats, Dorsey-Lane Live w/o Care, Lynnhaven SAH Galathea, Land of Havilah Sonador, Land of Havilah ShekinahGlory, and Land Of Havilah Diamond.
UPDATE 12/04/2009: We are participating in the ADGA Linear Appraisal Program in 2010! The application has already been sent in! We are a host herd, so feel free to sign up with ADGA to bring your goats over and get them appraised!! We will be keeping all the herds separate for herd health reasons.
UPDATE: 12/07/2009. We are sold out of 2009 goat kids. We are currently taking reservations for our 2010 Goat Kids out of Lynnhaven SAH Galathea, Land of Havilah ShekinahGlory, Land of Havilah Sonador, and Land of Havilah LG DiamondGirl. Please visit our Reservation Page for more information.
UPDATE: 12/10/2009. I'm seriously considering signing up for the ADGA DHIR program (milk test) in 2010. I need to find a Verification Tester that lives in my area, please let me know if you are interested, thanks!! BTW, you don't have to have goats to be a tester, and we can take the training and the test together at Spring Goat Day at MSU on the 2nd Saturday of March 2010. ;)
Make sure to check out our For Sale: 2009 kids page, to see pix of our beautiful Nubian kids currently for sale that were born here this year! All of our goat kids are raised by their dams (the healthiest way), as our herd is entirely CAE & CL negative. The kids are played with/handled every day, and are VERY friendly.
I firmly believe in Holistic Health, and treat both my family and all our animals by this line of thinking. I use homeopathics, herbs, and other holistic methods in treating sickness here at our farm. We DO NOT use hormones or antibiotics - unless I HAVE to resort to antibiotics for life saving measures. I use many of Dr. Hulda Clark's (PhD and ND) methods for ourselves and our animals.
"And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from hence it was parted, and became into four heads. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; and the gold of that land is good; there is bdellium and the onyx stone."
